Rosewood Tele into silver face Twin. I found this on one guitar board, tossed it out on another and got overwhelming response, I thought I'd try it here.

Understated, tasteful, sublime playing. As one poster who responded on the other board said, "Now that is the way you support a song."

You can barely here John's Casino in this, and as some people who've commented on this elsewhere observed, what George doesn't play is almost as big a deal as what he plays, in that he lays back and doesn't get in the way when John is doing something on rhythm. Nice light tremolo, too.

Outstanding, perfect accompaniment. He played the "right thing" to compliment the song.

The bit in the middle ... so simple, but just otherworldly right for the song.

How do people get hold of these isolated tracks that have appeared on YouTube in recent years?

he was a master no doubt about that. one of my heros

don't mean to spoil the mood, but what do you make of the "clicking" in the background once in a while? almost sounds like a clik track but of course it isn't. maybe Ringo???

Very tastefully done like a lot of Georges playing. Part of what made the Beatles great was putting together the right pieces of a song from the vocals to the drums to the guitar to the bass etc......

Incredible - the best guitarist know what a song needs and most times, less is more. Great job George!

Superb. I love his playing (especially his unique slide work). And writing. And singing. My favourite Beatle.

At the risk of quoting Rush Limbaugh, "Ditto"!
