    Greetings from Australia.
Already learned a lot from here, more to come.
    Hope the pics work out.
My only question is: "Can you have too many Telecasters?"
    I think not.

    These didn't make it.
The collection contains Tokai, Fernandes "Revival", Artist HH, J&D Thinline, Yam 311,
CV Blonde, and JH Guitars .
    Cheers.

Hi and welcome from Melbourne. A mate bought and Artist tele but found it too heavy for gigging. I bought an Artist short scale bass (sorta like a mustang) and it's great for the money.

I keep coming across the J&D Thinlines. How's your sound? I have a J&D Les Paul something or other and it's got a great finish and a really nice neck.

Sure are! Locking tuners, good pick-ups and overall finish, satin neck plays well.
For this, and price I can live with the weight.

peteycaster: neck on the J&D Thinline looks 2-piece maple(?), plays nice, just a
    bit of varnish "stickiness".

    Thanks to all for welcomes.

First played in a band in '77, a nice Stagg Tele Custom ('74 not the same as later Stagg branded),
this was my initiation to Teles, destroyed in '03 bushfire. One I would replace.

Ok back to the fray, now where did I stook that parchment scratch-plate?

    cheers

    Welcome.
Asking a question like that on TDPRI? I think you're baiting us.

A good follow-up question would be: Can you have too many guitars? Can you have too many amps? Can you have too many .........?
Answers depend on your requirements, the depth of your pockets, whether you are married (as mentioned in #13), the size of your house.

Me ... I'm single (divorced) but living in a small flat without any storage room. My guitars live under the bed, so I have specific limits based on room size.
    Everyone will have different restrictions.
I have 1 bass, 2 acoustics, 2 nylons, 1 electric, 3 amps (IMO everyone needs 3 amps, unless they don't play acoustic or bass).
I think I "need" another bass and another electric. This is a constant battle between GAS and my minimalistic efforts.
