Good luck in a new land! I hope it goes well for you.

If I wasn't dependent on local medical care, I think I'd be doing more globe tripping.

Welcome to Australia! Melbourne is a great city, almost as good as Sydney ;) ;)... I had a homesick day today for Australia, and all the wonderful things it has to offer, such as a very simple tax system, great socialised health care for permanent residents and citizens.... These are a few of my favourite things ;)

Again, thank you for all the welcomes!
I have it on authority that one of the first things I need to do as an Aussie is figure out which AFL team to support, and that it must not be Collingwood. :p
Any advice there? How do you choose your team when you don't have a set location yet?
    And that would be..?

If you're into the Arts, historically you would follow St Kilda FC, as in the old days, the artists, actors, musicians etc mainly lived around St Kilda and would go to the Junction Oval in St Kilda to watch a game or try and get a game to make some extra cash.

You'll actually have to take a position on every sporting code followed in Australia and be sensitive to the intense rivalries between them Mr Lumbergh but there's a lot more to Melbourne and Australia than just sport.

Nah, hardly anyone outside NSW/QLD cares about the two Rugby codes - though admittedly that's half the country!

He's got a point ............ not so much as a prawn, Barbie (both types) or a stubby!

Go down to the corner, find a dropbear (like a koala, but cuter), take a selfie and post it, please.
