Garage Sale '62 Tele BSB?

    they said it was a real fender but i'm not so sure. I paid $4 for it. (talked them down from $5). is there anything obvious that shows it might be a fake?

    Looks legit to me...of course, I just had my eyes dilated and I’m standing in direct sunlight, looking on a cell phone with a cracked display, so I may be missing a detail or two.

    PS—cool guitar, though.

    It's fake. The saddle screws are a dead giveaway.

    Not a fender. RS is good, if it's real you got a very good find. It may be just an RS neck on a whatever body. But the neck alone is worth 20 times what you paid.

    All kidding aside, that's a cool looking guitar. Have you checked scale length? is it Gibson or Fender... or something else entirely?

    i kinda hate it myself. i saw it on pinterest. in fact, there are several in different colors so i guess someone is buying them?
