What is the length of the gap between the bridge pickup and bridge saddles on a tele? Is a tele bridge pickup further away from the bridge than a strat? Is that part of the reason why a tele bridge pickup sounds fuller than a strat bridge pickup?

I just did a quick measurement on a Tele and a Strat, Strings 1 through 6.
Keep in mind that this is from the top of the bridge saddle to the center post - saddle settings will vary.

    #1 - Tele = 32.2 mm / Strat = 31.7 mm
    #2 - Tele = 36.1 mm / Strat = 34.9 mm
    #3 - Tele = 40.7 mm / Strat = 38.6 mm
    #4 - Tele = 41.5 mm / Strat = 39.6 mm
    #5 - Tele = 46.7 mm / Strat = 42.3 mm
    #6 - Tele = 52.7 mm / Strat = 45.3 mm
