G&Ls are outstanding guitars. I own three. Is it a USA model or Tribute?

Agreed. G&Ls are some very fine machines. I wouldn't hesitate to pick up another one.

I don't own any but have played one at jams and they sound and feel very good to me.

I have the orange "thinline" pictured above. I really love it. One of the few guitars I have not had the urge to modify. It shines in the middle position, gets sweet and jazzy in the neck, and some sizzle in the bridge position. It rings out well when played unplugged. Build quality is great. It would be one of the last guitars I'd sell.

The quality of a g&l is top notch. Everything from the wood to electronics make a usa g&l feel like a custom shop instrument.

This guy makes everything sound good.
G&L gets some bad rap sometimes and I personally haven't seen any bad guitars from them - yet. Some people say the tributes are bad, but I don't see much difference between them and the Squier's and MIM's some seem to fawn over. Maybe I'm missing something or maybe just a bit of snobbery. I mean Fender, Music Man and G & L were all started by the same guy. There are a couple G&L guitars I wouldn't mind having.
Rampage, Fallout, Comanche, ASAT Junior and ASAT Special all look interesting.
