I took my big box Rat apart the other night to see if I could ID the correct resistor to snip or desolder. On the backside of the circuit board was a surprising amount of printed info, including the phrase "Fuzztones for the Conniseur".
The date of manufacture, 7/81 and the indication "Type B Rev. C" was also present. I still have the original box, instructions and warranty card

Anyway, anybody here tried the "Ruetz Rat" mod and what do you think?
I saw a "Brat" (low cost Rat) in a pawn shop that I'm thinking about nabbing to try the mod on first because I'd kinda like to have the original as a basis for comparision.

I got the Brat apart last night and the circuit board has "Follow Your Dream" printed on the backside. The board also labels the sides as "Give" and "Take" to indicate input and output sides.
