Again, as with longsword fighting, the action is fast and powerful. Here's one with two big old boys in Dallas going at it.

I've practiced Judo for a long time, so I got into Kendo. Cool sport, wish I had more time to practice it.

Okay I get the video above but the axe thing is a little too much for me, I guess this is what humanity deserves
Woe! (This comment was before even watching the axe fight)

That has to be the stupidest thing I’ve seen in a while

Maybe they can do it without the armor and help the gene pool a little

I try to be tolerant but can’t help myself on this one, maybe this is what the kids will be into in the future

    NOW! GET OFF MY LAWN!

Battle axe fighting and lawn mower demo derby! When you know you're a winner.

It's almost like there aren't enough ways to suffer and die already.

God forbid one of those wooden handles breaks and the head flies into the crowd. WTF.

It's just another take on "professional" wrestling.

I think chainsaws would be interesting

I think it would be a valid plan to find out which states are LEAST likely to have axe fighting....and move there.
It would be a way to take sort of a cultural temperature.
    A Civilization Quotient (CQ).
I'm thinking Rhode Island and Vermont.
