I was just talking with a friend about how Fugazi is a band I take for granted because its just always been there. Anytime I go back and revisit I always wonder why I don't listen to them more often.

13 songs is one of my favorite albums. I like Minor Threat too. Great stuff!

Have you seen what Brendan Canty and Joe Lally are up to lately with The Messthetics? With guitar killer Andy Pirog? It's different. Make sure you watch past :45 if you do.

    Repeater!!!

    Things I like
    1. I was at a Bad Religion show and everyone was chatting it up between bands, when Waiting Room came on the house speakers. On cue all the chatting stop and the crowd sang "I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait" together

Dang I was a Fugazi nut in my youth. Saved my lunch money to buy Dischord CDs at Amoeba on weekends.

Fugazi created incredibly tight and intelligent/thoughtful material and the energy in their performances was nonpareil---FWIW, the 33 1/3 series of books on specific artist's/band's notable albums has a really solid one on Fugazi written by Joe Gross. It specifically addresses In On The Kill Taker while also discussing the members' and group's history. Definitely worth a read.
