Esquire Jones
Tele-Holic
I’ve mostly been playing telecaster’s and acoustic guitars for the last 20 years.
I recently started playing in a cover band and have pulled some of the old gear out of storage. Not the least of which is my old 79 Strat. I played this guitar for years and years. It has literally seen over a thousand gigs. And even more jams and practice sessions.
I put it in storage knowing that it needed some work. In reality it could do fine with just a new nut and some pot cleaner.
It was purchased at Daddy’s Junky Music in Boston across from Berklee. The music scene in the 80’s was just amazing. So much excitement and music was everywhere.
A really cool Strat. It smells like Marlboro cigarettes and cheap beer and it’s glorious.
