Free CD with UK "Bassist" magazine, 1997

Anyone remember Bassist magazine? I loved it and was really sorry when it got swallowed up in Guitarist. My collection of copies has long gone, but I've still got this free CD.



I dug it out today to listen again to track 3, Mo Foster's Bel Assis. Lovely melody played on fretless. Track 9 on the album at 42min 40

Sitting her on the floor next to my desk is a box with about 60 Guitarist Mag CDs that I accrued over the years when I still had a subscription. I used to really love that EVERY disc had a copy of just about every piece of gear they'd ever reviewed, though it was very poorly labelled.

There might be a few bassist CDs in there, too.

I don't think Bassist did many CDs in its too short life. I wish I'd kept my paper copies - so many happy memories of my first steps on bass.
