Very clean production.
First appearances of vocalist Ike Willis and Vinnie Colaiuta.
Most/all guitar solos accomplished via "xenochrony" (laying live guitar tracks against studio rhythm tracks without regard to synchronization)
Part I was pretty good as a standalone.
Parts II/III did not add much IMO but we did get the classic solo "Watermelon in Easter Hay".

Earlier this week I listened to this all the way through for the first time probably since the ‘90s. Side one of part one is great. All the instrumental sections throughout are top shelf. But starting on side two the lyrics become so unrelentingly cringe inducing I don’t know if I’ll ever spin this again.
