...wall wart daisy-chains always have five spots.
Thats because there is always one more pedal...
I've decided "one" is the perfect amount of pedals
If pedals were petals and you were in love you might want five.
I generally use 4 and a tuner so the 5th one is obviously for the tuner
For the TU-3 tuner pedal...
You need that 5th pedal so that last daisy chain spot doesn't short out your whole board.
For the extension to four more pedals.
Or some insulation tape...
Why doesn't Boss make a bcb-30 with four spots?
I thought that daisy chain would stop me, but then I just bought another one, so I now have 9 spots available. The really stupid part is that they're all powering OD pedals, 'cause I get all my other effects from my amp. It's just that I like one OD best with one guitar, but another one with another guitar, etc. But, I also have another one spot which is only powering a looper right now, but you've got me thinking..............................
Korg's 'Hatsune Miku' pedal?
Everyone needs one oddball pedal...
Oh man, they JUST got these in on amazon Japan! SO tempted. It has everything I need and nothing I don’t. I have enough in the piggy bank. I was saving for a 25th anniversary trip, but my wife doesn’t know that...
I found one used, and JUMPED on it. Glad I did
Better cut that one extra one off or you'll end up like me. My power supply has 12.....
What do they go for used?
I've only ever seen one available used. I got mine for about 80 dollars less (shipped) than what you can get one for new
That's what a short piece of rubber hose is for.
They don't all have 5. I have some that have 3, 7 or 9, also one that has 2. Interesting that most are odd numbers.
all this talk is making me want to throw my pedal board together but I've been quite content with an OD in front of an amp for a while.
