Anyone found a good Labor Day sale for guitars/equipment?
Got a GC leaflet in the mail that went right into the trash. Just the usual bottom-end stuff (Squiers, Epis, no-name powered speakers and mixers, etc.)
The usual holiday sale is going on at MF
I hear you can use those GC coupons at Hooters.
Yeah, but only on the bottom-end, no-name...
Wait, what were we talking about again?
Does the $200.00 Pro Junior I scored this afternoon on CL count as a "pre Labor Day" sale?
Hmm.. I got their sale catalog and it's mostly higher end stuff. Fender amps, Martin, Taylor, Gibson and Fender Guitars. There are a few higher end Epis and Squires, but not many. A lot of good sound equipment too.
Prymaxe Vintage is having a 20% off sale.
Remember to spell poorly and use goofy grammar......lay it on 110% and make them wonder about you.
Sam Ash has the Ditto Looper for less than $70.
They only worry because they care.
This one keeps popping up, probably based on my browsing history!! Very tempting.
I got the GC flier for 15% off of anything 199.00 or higher..........restricted.....lol....how many times are we gonna talk about this one?....lol
It means I can walk in there and get 15% off anything 199.00 or more. I have never had a problem with getting that 15% on anything. But I just bought a Squier Obey Tele and an Epi Les Paul Special II Plus in the last month so I think I am good for a bit.
The way Fender and Gibson have their prices locked now days, specials and discounts never apply to them anymore, only if it's a specific model they want to push out the door. I checked several different guitars from them for Labor Day specials today and none qualify.
I might spring for one of these to learn bass with my 12 yr old daughter. Acoustic B15 Amp:
$50 off and pretty well reviewed for a practice amp with a 10" speaker.
With a Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar Bass Special SS she'd be playing bass for under $300, and I might learn something too
Just did the deal. Amp on sale at MF for $69.99 and the bass from GC at 15% off for $169.
The whole rig $240. Crazy.
Don't all of the major retailers have a sale EVERY week? and as it may have been noted, a lot of the time the higher end stuff is not included in the sale, no big deal for me, I buy almost everything used , except strings!
Tempting indeed! May not go over very well with my wife considering I just bought a guitar less than two weeks ago.
If you subscribe to their newsletter, you'll find that almost every week, there's some special "17% off" discount... No big new there, but thanks for posting!
Non guitar related, but I got a 40% off at Barnes and Noble - Sweet, right? Until the $34 with free shipping fell to under $25 with the coupon so no more free shipping, and then back up to $29, or add $4.03 more to my cart to get free shipping... And on and on and on, until I just said "screw it" and closed the page...
