Just got my Baja Tele back from having Forrest Lee put one of his
B Benders in it. I shipped it last Tuesday and got it back this morning. Eight days, door to door. Workmanship is perfect. Forrest communicated with me often during the process and overall it was just a very pleasant experience. In addition to being a great picker and highly skilled craftsman, he's also a super nice guy and a pleasure to do business with.

Very nice! Great minds must think alike as I just bought the same Baja (with rosewood neck), switched the guard to black and plan on sending it to Forrest soon for a bender! Nice to get a preview of what it will look like and yet another confirmation from a happy Forrest customer. Enjoy it!

Maybe it's just the picture, but the strap rod hole looks huge

Optical illusion from the camera angle. Like a fisherman holding the fish up to the camera to make it look bigger.
Blade, I really can't say enough nice things about Forrest.

That's beautiful. Congratulations. I've heard nothing but good words about Forrest. If it wasn't for shipping costs to and from the US I'd gladly join the club!

Shipping is crazy right now. But I just shipped 2 bender loaded bodies to the UK for under $100 each.
And this morning shipped a Mexican body back to Australia after a bender install and that was $115.
For some reason its about $20 cheaper to Ireland than the UK or Northern Ireland. Which makes no sense to me.
Fed ex or UPS wanted $375
USPS was $115 for international priority mail.

    The other problem is duty.
But if its a repair service or warrenty return you shouldnt have to get hit for duty fees twice.

That looks super! Great work, Forrest! Just curious--if I was interested in that for my tele, would I need to ship the whole guitar, or could I take the neck off and just send the body?

How much weight did it add to the baja?

I think it added about 5oz on that guitar.
All I need is the body, but Ill do an artist setup if you send the whole guitar. Truss rod adjust etc...

Guess I need to pay Paul some vendor affiliate money. Im not supposed to talk about work unless thats done. But I do appreciate all the nice comments about our work. We try to get em done fast and clean. Usually a couple weeks.

So I will officially get listed as a vendor now.
Btw, 2 new records coming out soon! Telethon 2 is in process!

I love that guitar and wouldn't mind owning it. I'd have to make one change though and that would be to get rid of the clear bender cover on the back. I'd prefer one which matched the pickguard on the front. When I got my P/W bender it came with a tortoise shell bender cover from Stringpull which I preferred.........JH in Va.
