So I came across Forney Custom on ebay while looking for a metal switch tip the other day. They sell aluminum CNC'd switch tips in many different colors and designs, as well as Strat tips, knobs, Les Paul tailpieces and many other parts. So I thought I'd share them with the community in case anyone else is looking for a decent tip for less than a Rutters tip.

I ordered it a couple of days ago and it came in yesterday. Extremely well made. Anodized black with a set screw to hold it on. Only $11 plus shipping, which is half the price of a Rutters tip. They fit extremely well, even without the set screw.

I'm very pleased with mine so I thought I'd share my experience with the group in case anyone else is looking for a metal switch tip w/set screw that's less than $30. These are fantastic. And they weigh next to nothing. I figured there'd be a noticeable difference between it and the stock plastic tip but there's not.

They have an Ebay store and a Reverb store with countless custom, Made in the USA parts for sale. Thousands of parts listed.

Below: A small selection of their tips. I bought one of the black anodized stock tips shown first. Available in many colors and designs. Strat tips. Tele tips. Knobs. Custom built Tele saddles. Tele bridges. Hardtail Strat bridges. Les Paul tailpiece. All sorts of stuff.

I have no relation to this company nor am I getting anything for making this post. I just wanted to share a parts manufacturer that sells very high quality parts for extremely affordable prices. I'll definitely be buying from them in the future.

I'm looking forward to buying other things from them, as well.

Well I was going to look at their stuff but it all disappeared from their online Reverb store. I think they may be on vacation but I didn't realize the website pulled all of your ads while you're gone. At least at Ebay, it tells you they're gone until this day and still let's you look at their store.

I've got one of his half bridges and saddles on a build. I can't say enough good things about the smooth feel, sound and price. Extremely happy. This guitar sounds amazing and intonates great.

I used Forney brass saddles on my most recent partscaster build. They work very well and look even better!

Their bridges are nice-lookin' parts. Are they worth the money? Only you can decide that.
