There is holding on every play, both in the defensive backfield and on the offensive line. Most of it is not called, and for good reason. Every game would be 75-70 if it was called.

So when is it appropriate to throw the flag? Ju ju beats him past the 5 yards and breaks open to the corner for a TD except he was held twice restricting him to get to the ball. I have seen over the years get to balls just like that with Pittsburg and this year with KC.

Cheffers regular season crew probably doesn't throw the flag but playoffs and Championship crews are paired by season rankings.
I guess that I didn't see the contact as so egregious that it impeded Smith from running his route either with the permitted contact within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage or afterward. The ball looked overthrown to me. But the mere fact that it is controversial tells me that the NFL doesn't always do things right. Not by a longshot either. Kind of a let down for me.

For the record, it’s mostly national media whining about the call. There’s very little complaining coming from Philly fans and media, at least the people that I talk and listen to. We obviously didn’t like it, but we know that our team is at fault for putting themselves in position for having a somewhat questionable call like that costs them the game.

Bottom line is, Mahomes is awesome, and as I much as I don’t like to admit it, Reid is pretty good too. They took that game in the 2nd half.
