I love it when Politicians who have no idea of air combat flight or even flight for that matter make decisions for the best of the military aviation community.

I wonder if these politicians as a whole have a clue on anything they fund.
I have great contempt for our American politicians, but after reading this, I think the colonies are doing a little better in this regard.
