coffee .....!?!?!?

Just take a couple Tums with each cup....think of them like breath mints.

(in all seriousness, I feel your pain...anything really acidic can cause some reflux...I love the stuff but I pay the price.)

Wow. The fact that we can develop a life-threatening food allergy to something we've eaten for years--e.g., peanuts, shrimp, eggs, beef--is pretty sobering. Are you positive it's beef? I only ask because 4-6 hours later sounds rather long. I was told that adverse reactions to food allergens typically occur within minutes but up to 2 hours after ingestion. Is it possible that you're reacting to something you ate in the interim?
It's called Alpha-gal syndrome, and it is caused by a tick bit. Doctors figured out the link about 20yrs ago. I'm fortunate it's only beef that I react to. A lot of people also have a reaction to pork, and some other kinds of meat.
At least can still eat pork bbq😊

Coconut milk in cartons. If you put some of that in a meal, i can guarantee something bad is going to happen in the loo. I can drink the coconut juice from the fruit and eat the meat without problems.
