After watching a video where Kirk Fletcher plays straight up blues and he ended the video with saying "just play what you want".

I immediately grabbed my guitar and started playing some simple minor blues and had heaps of fun.

I think the guitar community expect everyone that decides to share their guitar playing online to know everything but in my opinion it's not about that. It's not about being the fastest, the most knowledgeable.

If you put your heart and soul to your playing, whatever it might be, fast shredding, slow blues, quirky jazz, you're good to go!

    What do you guys think?

    Cheers!

Sounds real good! Great touch and patience--you let the notes have enough room. Way to go!

Many years ago, I heard the expression "anything worth doing is worth doing poorly." I believe that to be true. Sure, it's great to excel, and to strive to be better, but doing something that makes you smile is the first order of business. The striving and excelling are secondary. Many people will disagree with me, and I hope they enjoy their stress and ulcers.

Edit: I did not mean you are doing things poorly; I was talking about myself. You are doing much better than me. But I'm happy!
