You're going to give Florida Man a good name.

Great Dinosaur picture! It's going to take a while to transform the Florida Man rep but I can appreciate your trying!

Sometimes Florida Man doesn't play nice with dinosaurs, he decapitates them.

I grew up in Tallahassee, but I moved a few miles south to Crawfordville at the beginning of 2004. Crawfordville has exploded since then, especially in the last 2-3 years.

The State Park at St. George is one of our favorite places

    Lucky......

    I’m jealous

Are these the dinosaurs you buy for your grandchildren or just collect them?

(I know there’s someone on here that said they collect them)

We're in Perdido Key on vacation. My fiancee's sister and brother-in-law live here. Up until about 6 years ago, we would come over here a couple of times a year and stay in their condo (a rental) until they sold it.

Here's the story behind the dinosaurs. About 7 years ago while we were here on vacation, we were setting up our chairs on the beach one morning, and I found the brontosaurus sticking out of the sand. Obviously some kid had left it behind, probably the day before. We were the only people on the beach that morning.

I picked it up, and brushed it off. Then, I sat it on the beach for a close up picture with the water behind it, and I posted it on Facebook. It was immediately a hit with our friends. My girlfriend said, "If nobody comes back for him, we're naming him and taking him with us." So I said, "Okay, how about Mr. Pickles?"

He became our travelling gnome, appearing in many of our photos, for the rest of our vacation. From that day forward, we continued to take Mr. Pickles with us whenever we traveled.

About a year later, some friends of ours were going to meet us in Perdido Key, and stay at the condo with us. While they were in route, they sent us a picture of a stegosaurus on the dash of their car, along with a message that said, "Dilly is excited to meet Mr. Pickles."
