I'm not much of a guitar tech. I have a SD Seth Lover in the neck position of my telecaster. It is installed just like a PAF on a Gibson, meaning it is seated in the typical housing.frame that goes around the pickup. It installs onto the guitar with 4 screws, and I think the other two screws adjust the pickup height.

If I unscrew the 4 corner screws, will I be able to lift the pickup out, flip it around 180 degrees and re-install it without ruining the pickup height or anything else? Or would I need to take off the pickguard, etc.?

    Thanks,
    Wayne

I've flipped them, but often the braided lead just isn't long enough.

I would take the PG off at least, to get a feel for how long the wires are.

I guess the other question is, what about the PAF housing? It's angled, I assume you would have to take the picckup out to keep the angle in the same direction? Or is that unimportant?

Well, that was a moderate success. Flipping it was simple. But, I had to raise and lower the poles a bit to compensate. Definitely a different tone, to my ears it increases the treble a bit.
