Excellent work! The maple binding turned out great.
Today in the sunlight, before sanding back the Zpoxy.
I sanded back & put a second coat on the walnut. The cherry was fine with one coat of Zpoxy grain filler.

Sprayed 3 coats of nitro before supper.
The walnut figuring is starting to emerge.

Did you tint the Zpoxy, or is that clear? The grain looks quite a bit darker.

The combo of zpoxy and alcohol is very effective on a porous wood. On the oak necks I've made smooth as glass and beautiful
Clear, but when mixed, the hardener has a slight amber tone.
Everything will be natural.
Nitro is not tinted either.

The only mistake I’ve seen in the whole build…never include bare feet in photos 
Guitar looks FANTASTIC!! I’ve always loved the look of that fret marker design. Nik Huber uses it regularly. Modern and classic at the same time.

I'll really be curious as what that bridge pickup sounds like, I've used a Fat Boy Tele bridge and neck P90. Hoping that's close

Gorgeous build & ingenious tricks to get there!
Worked on fretting the fingerboard this afternoon.
Used the Dremel with cutting disk to grind the tang away.
Pressed in with the caul in drill press.
Used a toothpick to put Titebond in each fret slot.
I’ll trim and file this evening.

Indeed....it is splendid! The neck looks amazing....as does the body. Going to a real looker for sure. Hoping the tone/sound it puts out is at least equal to how it looks.
Got the frets all tweaked, pickups in & wired.

Pegcity hand wound bridge pickup, & Gretsch Filtertron in the neck.
A happy jammer.
A few tweaks yet.
Nut filing, string trees, and maybe a resistor to bring the brightness down on the Jazzmaster bridge pickup. Quite a difference between the Jazzmaster bridge(bright), & the Filtertron Neck(mellow).
I’m running 500K pots, might add a 470K resistor to ground on the bridge pickup to tame it.
