Maybe, but measure the tubing with a digital caliper. In addition to my .023" fret slot bit, I keep 1mm and 1.5mm tooling on-hand as I use it for some things I help a friend with. It's just a thought... 
Since it is a Thinline, and hollowed out on both sides, it won’t be too bad.Is it likely to be a heavy instrument when completed? I don't know much about wood weight's? Hope this wasn't a dumb question.

May I ask what is the thickness of the walnut top?
