Started about a month ago and starting to come together.
Pic worthy now..going for a natural masked binding and finally had a chance to use some flame maple wood binding I've had forever..just never used it..a bit harder than celluloid...pretty though..glad I went with it..kinda ties it all together. 20191110_154915.jpg 20191110_155113.jpg 20191110_155212.jpg

They are called enhanced dots sold by Depaule..$60 a set..quite a bit more than a standard dot set..I went for them for last 2 builds..335 & this one..they come in several configurations...

I want to leave a masked binding around the body top edge. Any suggestions on what sealer to use...was planning on using cardinal vinyl sealer for nitro straight out of can. I plan on dying and sanding back several times b4 going with a dye over that..maybe a deep red or blue.
Possibly an aqua..havent desided yet..but trying to avoid any bleeding into masked area.

Cardinal vinyl will work. Some of the vinyls can be too thick to get the smoothness right out of the can so nothing wrong with thinning a bit. I personally go ahead and just tape off the top and seal everything else including the binding at the same time. Leaves less finish lines to deal with.

    Gorgeous detail work!!!!

Gorgeous! Can't wait to see the final pics! It really reminds me of Matheos' guitar from Fates Warning:
