I'm still researching. I kinda like the wearable thingie from stewmac, but I'm already wearing glasses, so I don't know how that will work. I have small magnifier gadgets for working on wrist watches and such...

Norwegian store: https://evenstadmusikk.no/search?q=reim It seems I got the last one. I'm not terrible happy with it, it has a too bright green tone to it, it doesn't really match my mint railcaster.

Update. I found it. Still curious to know where you bought it and if it's any good. It looks so cool. But I always like the idea of those straps more than I've ever liked the purchase. The green is killer though and would go great with some of my guitars.

Thanks! I'm over 50, so I'm kinda done with theory. My ears are good also.

See my post above yours. The colour didn't match too good, but YMMV.

My suggestions are, if you don't have one, either a good EQ pedal, or the TC Electronic polytine clip on, best clip on tuner ever IMO

How to use $50? Use it to get another $50, then spend that. You get to keep the original $50.

Just about every truly good decision I've made in my life has been about boring stuff. I've made a boatload of poor decisions in the name of fun, however o_O

Paypal...go to Ebay and put some things you might want on your "watch list".

Sellers will send you discounts, and wait for the right one to come along. I've got up to 25% off doing that.

I don't know how we could test it and all remain members in good standing, but I'd be curious to know who's the grumpiest grump on TDPRI. The OP has no chance: no true grump ever answers surveys.

Does your gas station take PayPal?

I vastly prefer the wearable magnifier and use it all the time.
    (Unless my wife took it)
If that's useful to you and you don't have one yet, that's a good value in terms of what the hell can you get for $50 that means more than a hill o' beans.
Note that mine was made long before Stew Mac started selling $50 items for $150.
Might be easier to find there though, and the extra $$ you pay to avoid search time can be made up answering surveys!

When did life get so complicated?
Before or after $50 became nothing more than a plate of food or tank of gas?

One other thing you can do with $50 that punches about its dollar value is buy a hand wired clone pedal made by Chicago Stomp works or similar builder. With boutique hand wired pedals up in the $150- $200 range, some of those small shop pedals are aberrations in bang for buck reality. Those run more like $60 new without a paint job, but go for less used.

Not 100% sure those mag goggles work well with eyeglasses?
