First time I've ever owned an Ibanez, it's a nice guitar, I like it!

Nice one! Talmans are great. I find their bodies very comfortable -- easy to work over. I had a few of the 90's models, but ended up selling all but one of them because I like a wider neck than 1-5/8".

Thanks man, it's a Noodles signature... it had a 1/3 off the price and I've always liked the Talmans. Cost me £299 brand new, which I think it's a great price for it.... nothing to complain about other than a very dry board (which is very common) and the edges of the nut were a bit too square for my liking but nothing that a few minutes with a little file couldn't address. other that it felt really nice right away.

Very . I have had two Ibanez guitars. A 70’s lawsuit Les Paul, and a mid 80’s Roadstar II.

Ibanez guitars are incredible values. I've used an Ibanez GSR 200 bass on gigs for a couple of years. They respond well to adjustment and most people that play mine can't believe it. Enjoy it! Nice to have a guitar that you can horse around with. Was the case extra? Looks like you got a great deal.

I still have a mid-80s Roadstar II. It's beat to hell, but it's nice and light and plays very well.

I had the case already, it didn't come with anything not even a gig bag! That seems pretty typical these days though? even for guitars that cost double this ..... my poor old tele got booted out of the case. :D[

yeah it's insane what you can buy these days.

Oddly it feels a lot like a hardtail strat to to play, it's got the rear and arm contours, a fender feeling bolt on neck and bridge and the volume, tone and switch feel in a similar 'straty' place too... but it looks and sounds nothing like a strat. (which is a big bonus to me!)

Agreed! my Artstar AF-120 here, which I bought off a bandmate 15+ years ago, has been a great guitar especially for the jazzy stuff but can RnR in fine fashion as well ... love the neck, and the Super 58s sound really nice, with both PR and Vox ac10. This will always be a keeper for me.

I bought an AM93 couple years back, not having any clue what it felt/sounded like other than opinion reviews...turned out to be one of the best guitars I have...

of course most of my effects setups are Ibanez, so...great stuff

Looks great! How are those P90s on it? :)

My AS103 is my #1.. Love that guitar and hope to keep it forever. What I find is that Ibanez are very consistent quality wise especially above the $600 mark, IME trying a bunch of their Artstar series, not that much variation from guitar to guitar.
