I’ve been a Strat guy and Les Paul guy for awhile, but finally found my Tele. Plays amazingly well and I love the pickups so far. I’m ready for my first mod- fender locking tuners. Not sure which ones though. The ones for Deluxe/Elite guitars or others? I don’t see any for professional guitars so far. Anyone have this info?

    Here’s a pic-

I was wondering if the 3/3 and 4/2 matters or not. Does it affect anything at all? Thanks for the info!

Beautiful guitar! I was sniffing around one of those for awhile, but ended up with a Classic 72 Thinline, which I love. Enjoy it and welcome to the Tele side of the world.

    congrats! thats a nice guitar!!

I wanted one of these, but I am not sure if the body routes can fit a soap bar P90! I was planning to convert it into a P90 tele!

    Welcome !
I really like Vintage Kluson and Gotoh.
Sometimes locking tuners can be a PITA live.

I was going to post that there is a weird spot in the grain of that guitar that makes it look like someone holding a phone, but I decided not to post that. :D

Nice looking Tele. How do those humbuckers sound?

I'm not sure about the locking tuners; aren't the tuners on yours the staggered-height tuners? I can't quite tell from the picture.

    First off nice Tele!

I put the 3/3 locking tuners on the last American Standard Tele I had (a 2013) which had the 4/2 tuners without any issues.

Nice, I got one of those, like it a lot, bought it a while ago bit just started playing it recently, find the high frets take a bit of getting used to but once you do its quite easy to play.
On mine the output jack cup has come lose, I'm not to thrilled about that, I took it apart to see what was going on and the metal tang inside that is supposed to bite into the wood was pretty shoddy, I am going to replace the cup with an electrosocket and be done with it.

The humbuckers sound great. Not as powerful as LP pickups, but they have a nice clean sound and enough power to sound great with distortion. It’s not the traditional Tele sound, but that’s not what I was looking for.
