Made the body too! Black limba.... yeah, it already cracked and I superglued it, so now I have no fear of making mistakes - it will be an imperfect first build, and I sorta like that.

Finished! I started over on the neck, and ended up happier as a result. I'll still try to salvage the other one I started someday but the aesthetics of the maple/ebony really tied this one together in my eyes. Plays pretty good too. Overall pleased but I underestimated how many things can go wrong in guitar building. There were many "issues" that I did not document.
