...and not a Catholic school fundraiser Friday Fish Fry to be found.
I mean, there's always the drive-through at Culvers.
    Not the same.

Not even carry out? IIRC, you're right in the city?

Bummer, dude. I'm not Catholic but I am missing the fish fry just down the street from my house right now.

Even though they never have good fried catfish.

you think about it, and it takes a lot of people, volunteers, coming together to make those things happen

I had fish, cold poached salmon over salad, tonight. My wife had turkey, potatoes, and gravy. It had nothing to do with Lent. My wife brought a few prepared food meals home from Grace’s Market before the storm hit.

When I went to school (public) we had the square fish every Friday. Is that still a thing?

Can I request that priests keep their holy water squirt guns even after this is all over?

Thanks for the dinner idea... I'm hoping it's the walleye sandwich time of year.

Church down the road from me is doing carryout fried fish dinners. I suspect others are doing the same.

I wonder, though, is it really a sacrifice to have fish instead of meat on Fridays if you actually prefer fish to meat?

That either strikes fear in the heart or is called comfort food. It all depends on your experience.
