I say in quotes because it’s the bass player’s Halloween house party at the end of the month.
But in any event, it’ll be my first gig with an actual band in about nine years (not counting church bands, which became more like gigs than worshipping after a while...subject for another thread, or not).
I really struck gold with this group. Assembled on Craigslist, all really down to earth, cool, creative, and collaborative guys. By far the best band situation I’ve been in and the most fun I’ve had in a band in like 15 years.
For fun, the bass player is suggesting we add a Halloween cover to our original set. I suggested “Pet Sematary.” Other suggestions were Monster Mash, Psycho Killer, or Ghostbusters. In any case, we’d do it in a punk/Shoegaze flair.
Any other cool Halloween covers you could suggest we take a look at?
