Plan is to have a 'natural finish' but to enhance the gold streaks in the quartersawn mahog body.
Yes, shes' gonna be a non reverse.
    Strat jackplate goes on back.
    Individual neck ferrules. 20180706_203659.jpg

So, so far I have the body shaped out, neck pocket, and neck.
    Awaiting jigs for pickups.
Still don't know about the bridge.
I have this epiphone bucker laying around, but kind leaning on a Tele bridge from Jess. 20180706_104207.jpg

I modified the original firebird body template. The upper horn is extended 3/8, shorted by the waist 1/4, hoping to lose lose some of that bridge aft real estate and get better balance.
The neck is a bit heavy.

    Nice!

P90 or Filtertron for the bridge.

    The guitar looks great.
If your going with a Tele bridge maybe a mini humbucker with a coil tap?
