Well, now you know!
Bo Diddley's Colorado shaped guitar.
Now that there's funny.
That design had to have a lot of imagination. And I mean it, who the heck would have the guts to do something like that. Well, someone did for Bo.
Crap. I’ve been misspelling decades from the beginning. Time to read again English grammar. So it’s 70’s and not ’70s. My bad, lesson learned.
No you were right the first time:
Double crap. Your language is impossible, you should try Finnish, easiest in planet.
Many thanks Tex for advice and correction!
Interesting thread. We have discussed at least:
1) Finland Tele
2) Juice Leskinen
3) Finnish weather
4) SF weather
5) My musical preferences
7) Couple of US shaped Teles
9) English grammar
And 1), 2) and 7) are actually related to thic topic. It's weird how threads tend to go from earth to moon and back. That's flow of mind, I think.
So, what's next?
Doesn't Finnish have something like 16 cases, and no prepositions? It seems like it would be very challenging for a person whose first language is English. Very interesting, too.
Yeah, I was being bit sarcastic. We have 15 gramattical cases, which we were forced to learn in grammar school like chanting a religious mantra. I still remember the mantra even if someone woke me up in the middle of the night. It's said sometimes, that Finnish is one of the most difficult languages with Latin alphabets to learn (master). But i.e. immigrants and refugees learn the basics quite quick. Although their cases are all over the place, they get their message out and be understood.
Can see it in action in this video, but comically he only plays it during the solo and the camera switches to the drums when he starts playing the solo.
BTW, Texas was a Republic before it was a state in the United States of America, and remained so for a decade. And that fact still has a profound impact upon the psyche of every native born Texan. So from that perspective, the Texas Tele was not off-topic.
And as for that Texas Tele posted by Bristlehound, well, it's the right shape, and I like the maple fretboard, but I prefer one that incorporates the flag of the Lone Star State into the color scheme...
Is the red part mexico?
Uh...not sure what you mean.
If your comment is meant to be humorous, I'll reply in kind, and in Texas parlance..."Pert near."
If not, please clarify...
Eastwood Airline Map.
My daughter was pretty fluent by the time she was 2 years old....
I built an Australia Tele:
Aussiecaster. by Mark Smith, on Flickr
I tried to find a Wales shaped guitar... closest I could get:
I’m sorry if I didn’t make my self clear enough. Every Tele which is shaped as something even remotely resembeling county, state, county or anything is more than welcome.
And thanks for your informative facts about Texas!
Nice video of true Action!
This is another one with Finland Tele. My another band plays this song quite frequently. Title in English is Black sun rises. Before the song, Juice recevies an author of the year award. He modestly says, that he’ll aim to be a poet of century.
