WEll, heating it with a blow dryer and cooling it with a can of compressed air, upside down

Ha! No kidding! Well it really turned out nice, man. I really like how you were able to check it so uniformly. I've never done that myself, but have seen others do this so was curious cause yours is really nicely done to my eyes i.e. not too much, not too little, just enough ;) Thanks for the info!

After months of work, my partscaster is finally finished.

  • Second hand basswood body from Clearfork Designs
  • Maple Mighty Mite neck, reliced by Deep Ellum Guitarworks, TX, USA
  • All sanding paper by Kovax
  • All paint (primer, color and gloss clearcoat) by Dartford's. The color is Olympic White
  • All paint relicing by me
  • Bridge and control plate are cnc'ed stainless steel, by Van Dyke Harms
  • Brass control switch knob by Armadillo Guitar
  • Pick guard by Rebel Relic Amsterdam
  • Tuners are Gotoh SD510, relic by me
  • New bone nut by Guitarworks Delft
  • Hand wound bridge- and neck pickup by Guitarworks Delft
  • Neck pickup: Alnico 2 magnets, plain enamel magnet wire, wax potted, aged nickel cover, 7.8k
  • Bridge pickup: Alnico 2 magnets, plain enamel magnet wire, wax potted, brass baseplate, aged looks

That is a darker neck that I really like.
