    Yeah, I wonder how many people who start a thread "I have the best wife/gf in the world, she bought me a guitar!!" start one about 3 years later with "Getting divorced. Can't bring myself to pick up a guitar . . ."

    I dated a girl for a long time that would have delivered the opposite of that note. That note describes the woman I married.
    The world is hard and cruel enough, why would anyone want to go home to more of it.
    Marry someone that builds you up, not tears you down and do the same for them.

    Better yet. I married the girl who didn't even care about a ring, felt I should keep my fall fishing trip tradition scheduled day after we got married. Add, she doesn't care what I spend on guitars as much as about clutter.
