After an awful spring where the absolute low point was the death of my father I felt I needed a little cheering up. My father left me a substantial sum of money and as almost all my old guitar heroes played a jazzmaster I decided to get one. I briefly owned a Squier JM Jazzmaster a couple of years ago and I have missed it since it was traded for an amp.

I got my av '65 jm about a month ago and I can honestly say that if there's a guitar that will dethrone my av '64 tele as my #1 it's this one.

Workmanship is flawless. Actually better than on my '64 Tele. Pick ups sound awesome and the trem is the best there is. I feel very privileged to own two of Fenders best current production guitars.

Very cool. I've played the '65 Jaguar and I loved it. Everything about it was spot on from the finish to the sound and the feel. These reissues are definitely top notch guitars. Enjoy!

My belated condolences on the loss of your father. I most certainly dread that day.

Two thumbs up on the Tele. I was born in '64, so that model means something to me since the real deal is out of reach.

Congrats on the Jazzmaster! I've played everyone I've come across over the last year. I want one, I'm jealous!

Thank you for your sympathy. It was a tough time seeing my big strong lumberjack dad fade away. I hate cancer.
