Really good news for the lefties! I'm sure many of left handed TDPRI members have waited this to happen.

On Thomann site estimated delivery date is 10-Nov-2011. So you have to hold your horses for a while. The official Squier site doesn't have info on new LH models.

    Tervetuloa 19691970 to TDPRI forum!

Interesting that they don't show a picture. If they won't be available until November, I'd say they don't currently exist.

I'll keep my fingers crossed. I'm getting tired of going to my local GC and seeing the same old MIM's hanging behind a pole or at the end of the store. Sorry, I forgot. Can't forget to mention the lefty epiphone Les Paul clones. (all 2 of them)

Thanks for welcoming me (and kiitos in finnish, to MrSoul)

On Thomann site estimated delivery date is now:
"Availability of this item: shipment due to arrive on 22.08.2011"

I think the reason why there is no picture at the moment on Thomann site is that this is the first shipment of those, and they take pictures when they have the guitars in stock?

Maybe these are "especially-made-for-Thomann", it seems that no other european music store has these on their web site, and like MrSoul wrote, official Squier web site has no information about these?

Anyway, I really hope that I will have one of these in my hands at the end of this month!

Yes. Those due dates seem to change very rapidly on Thomann site. I hope you get your LH version ASAP.

Yes, there are pics now, too bad that the "shipment due to arrive" - date for CV Tele has changed again:
"Availability of this item: shipment due to arrive on 10.11.2011"
Oh well, it takes a lot of patience sometimes, Thomann had left-handed version of Danelectro 59 Reissue on their web site for almost a year before I could actually order it..

"A variety of studies suggest that 10% of the world population is left-handed"

So I think there are more than five lefties here ? :)

Anyway, I'm happy Fender makes also left-handed classic vibes, no matter how many left-handed guitar players there are in the world..

As a lefty I think it is great to see more lefty options from Fender. Before the CVs I had a choice of four guitars from over 40 different Fender models. Still no options for Jaguars or Mustangs unless I can find one from Japan.

My next purchases will be a Fender Strat and Tele. I can afford to buy one MIA and one other. The CVs now give me more options besides an MIM for one of the guitars. I just have to decide whether to get an American Standard Strat or Tele and then get the other one from the MIM or CV options. I like the Blizzard Pearl colour so I'm happy that both the Strat and Tele come in that colour.
