Yeah, I had the same thought.

I did pre-order the Whammy Ricochet, been wanting an ocatve down box, that looks like it can do a few other cool things too.

    gimmicks are fun

I like the Formant Filter effect and would use it in a pirate song Aye aye aye aye!

but where's the effect that makes the guitar say "matey"?

Yeah this isn't going to replace the traditional Rock sound or whatever you use the tube screamer for. It would be bad to make this your constant sound. I would rather have the Pog or the mini Pog.

I'd get sick of "yeah" on the 6th "yeah"... anyone I play in front of would get sick of "yeah" on the 3rd "yeah"
I vote Tubescreamer in any incarnation...

Enroute. Can't wait. I have a few original songs that this should work great on. One for sure, called "Datahater"

to play this pedal correctly, you have to dress like Bootsy Collins

not that that's a bad thing

"The Blowtorches" was my psychobilly band...good times. I wrote our trademark song some 18 years ago, if not longer

With the Dirty Robot, I will now have the ability to make THIS sound like it looks:
