Can’t be as bad as the Jimi Hendrix movie with none of his tunes in.

Real shame. I thought the cast had huge potential.

I had forgotten that the record companies had split queen after Jacksons thriller. Stones I knew about.

I enjoyed it well enough but I thought it was a bit cheesy and predictable in places. I was surprised at the critical reviews highly praising the movie.

I do like the part where the record company exec played by Mike Myers :D made the remark about how kids would never bang their heads to Bohemian Rhapsody. "It'll never happen!".

The thing is with those sort of movies, is did it really happen that way ? I mean Freddie mercury couldn't have been that manipulated ? It looks like it was too made to fit the hollywood story of a singer.

I wasn't there so i can't tell, and he wouldn't have been the first musician to have been taken advantage of.

Rami Malek is a great actor.

But they overdid the teeth. Totally ruined it for me, I couldn't get past it.

Agreed, great film but the teeth were way over the top. I spent the whole film trying to ignore them but couldn’t. I even think Rami struggled to get some of the lines out cos of them. Freddie’s teeth were way more subtle.

First of all good luck and positive thoughts headed your way for the surgery
We saw it in the theater with probably 4 other people there. We thoroughly enjoyed the movie.
I walk into a theater and throw out any and all preconceived thoughts and immerse myself in the movie. If it entertains me and I enjoy it then it’s a good movie. If it’s not entertaining then it’s not so much a good movie.
Bohemian Rhapsody is not a documentary nor a biopic. It’s an entertaining film. At least for us

Yeah, I think all that intra-band strife was mostly fictional, and Freddie never had that much angst and conflict over his sexuality IIRC.
