After all of these years I finally got a CV Thinline....It was all set up and ready to play. It’s very comfortable for me. I might try to find a fatter neck, but no urgency, it’s still quite comfortable. The pick ups seem ok but nothing that makes me giggle. I might replace those someday but not in a hurry. i will enjoy it the way it is. I do like the way it looks...Maybe a black pick gaurd

I LOVE that pickguard! That mahogany body and the pickguard just compliment each other!

( I'm not playing my Standard Tele as though it sounds very good, looks nice, it is heavy, and I play sitting down! Don't even like carrying it to gigs anymore, so this '69 Tele Thinline RI is definitely the Tele, on my short list- beautiful!)

It looks great. Is that one if the newer Nato bodies? I recently replaced the body on my American Special Telecaster with a Classic Vibe Custom body--it was lighter and looked better. Enjoy!

I am not into thinlines but the classic vibe version in mahogany always makes me want to have it ;)

Yes it is a Nato body. It's a lot darker than web picture shows, but I like it all the same...thx

I suppose you should get one then:). Mine is actually made from Nato which is often referred to as eastern mahogany....it's much different tonally from a solid body

Nice. Is that the super glossy neck?

My CVC body is Nato too. I may be in he minority here, but I like the color of the Thinline Nato bodies better than the old ones. Every once in a while Stratosphere will have the bodies for sale--I'm really tempted to get one and put my own neck on it.

It took me a while to come around. I really didn’t like that glossy neck at first. And if it was my only telecaster I probably never would’ve made peace with it. But it feels great. My wife does make comments about the glare coming off of it.

Right, some folks don't like the gloss neck, but it hasn't bothered me. And fortunately my wife thinks it's beautiful.

I am really tempted, luckily I can resist because am in a acoustic guitar period, otherwise I would have pulled the trigger a long time ago!

Congrats, a beauty for sure....love mine, it has the gloss neck and I had to go with the black pick guard cause everything looks better in black (well, pick guards, well, to me anyway...ha ha)
