I built the amp last winter, finally got a cabinet built in the spring, but just this week got around to the finish work.

Thanks all. And just to clear up any confusion, that is pine but I torched and stained it first to see if I wanted roll with a natural finish. Decided to cover it.

That looks really nice. I like that two piece back panel, nice unique touch.

Really nice job. That cabinet is deeper than a typical tweed, I'll bet the bass response is improved. And it looks like you didn't go for the floating baffle. How'd you mount it?

It's cool to see what can happen when somebody really cares about the final product.
The care you've given this project is obvious, @Mark the Moose
    Well done.
    Peace - Deeve

Thanks, JM. It's a just a touch taller and wider than a 5e3, and I used a 12" board rather than the typical 10". I wanted to have room to drop in a 12" speaker if needed and to put a small pedalboard in the back for storage. Plenty of bass, but I don't have anything to compare it to. The baffle is a tight fit all the way around, then I fastened it to the cabinet with six screws through the back. It's not vintage specs but seems to work well enough.

Thanks, Deeve. I have to give credit to Uncle Doug on YouTube, really excellent tutorials.

Well done, looks great. I like the way the corner protector also holds the back panel screw in place. I built a tweed vibrolux as well, great amp. I had a wgs G12Q in mine. Highly recommend that speaker for the small and mid size tweeds.

Yeah, with my first 5f11 build I constructed a cab out of plywood and added extra depth because I was afraid that this being a tweed amp would be too strident and I wanted the bass. I also had the 3/8 floating baffle like the original, attached at four points. I found the bass response to be bigger but also unfocused and sloppy. It was great for accompanying myself in my living room, but not so ideal for a band setting. When I rebuilt the amp from scratch I made a pine cab pretty much to Mojo spec and continued with the floating baffle. TO my ears, it's perfect now.

My baffle is 3/4” oak ply. Not sure how that affects the tone.

Eh, the effect on tone for any baffle design is pretty much theoretical. Especially when discussed in this forum. ;)

Great looking cabinet Moose! I am sure it will sound as good as it looks.
Hope to hear a clip or two when time you have time.
