I went on the fender site and recently discoverd they are now making lefty Classic vibes, love it!
The old Squier page is gone and now its includeds at the Fender site.
I saw the leftys and thats cool.
This is great news!!
Just thought we needed a picture.
I had heard rumors before, a picture confirms...............thanks so much, more to choose from for us impoverished lefties!
yup has been posted on the lefty forums i go to.
Fender are taking the CV series seriously .
theres something Ill never need!
j/k...good for you! you weirdo lefties
Now you can play the best guitar Fender ever produced since 1950
Looking forward to getting one of these. However I have been stalemated at every turn as to when they'll be in store and the 2 stores listed in Fender's site do not show it either. Any of you gurus have a clue??
I started another thread some time ago:
In Europe, Thomann (www.thomann.de) told me that they will have those in stock sometime in mid-november, don´t know about US shops
played one the other day in denmark street whilst visiting London, compared to a Mexican I prefer the 50s vibe (excuse the pun).
I'll be getting one when a guitar shop near me has one in stock.
I see there are more and more places getting them in now.........hopefully all of us leftys will be able to check them out soon.
These images never confirm anything. These are montages and often show the wrong details, parts, colors.
This confirms. Whether I like it or not (don't like the Chinese trade issue) this is a master stroke by FMIC. This will get more lefty players out there picking up the Tele and going on to buy lots of FMIC stuff. FMIC should have had a MIM Classic 50s lefty way back in 1999, for Goodness Sake. They were absolutely stupid not to do one. Now, this CV model will fill this market need and help FMIC a lot.
Thats cause since they were introduced in 2008 they have been the biggest seller in the whole line Fender sells.
Here it is! Arrived to Barcelona from Germany today, for sure one of the firsts on all entire Europe, plays sweet, ultra low action, 4 pieces pine body, super fine pickups, tomorrow will get a full cranked volume puck rock tratment!
I' m proud ofy first post!
I have ordered one of these from a store here in the UK ( Kent) supposed to be delivered in 2/3 days if in stock at the wholesaler, if not in stock don't know how long it would be, but that's fine so long as it is on the way..................
I checked one out today and was a bit disappointed. It was the same neck profile as my MIM standard (not really a 50's vibe) and I was expecting a little less weight. For a Chinese guitar that didn't wow me, I can't justify the extra $200 more than the affinity. Perhaps this particular one wasn't the best example. It's not like I can find another lefty like this in town though.
there's gonna be some variability in this line being they pump them out and sell them dirt cheap. My CVC wieghs 8lbs, neither heavy nor light Id say... My GC has another CVC in stock thats about 7lbs. Like all Teles they range from about 7-9lbs.
Just realized theres probably not that many lefties to choose from, but still maybe the next one you see will be a winner.
I play my CVC more than my 52RI, its that good.
