I'm in the middle of a partscaster prodject and recently came across something odd, but fishing for a answer. I bought some fender ferrules for the nashville body that I have but they don't fit(holes in body smaller than ferrules). Do they come in different sizes and if so how can you tell? Or should I drill out the holes to fit the ferrules I already have?

If it was my project, I would just drill to fit the ferrules you already have.

The bullet ferrules are 6.5mm as opposed to the standard ones which are 8.5mm (give or take a mm).
Is it a new body? There could be a layer of finish that needs clearing out of the holes.
A tight fit is better though as they won't fall out.

You should be able to just push them in with a bit of effort. If there is a finish on the body use a soldering iron on them to soften the finish so they slip in.

It's a Repainted Nashville Body. So I think who painted over sprayed and needs to be cleaned out. I'll try the soldering iron trick

Using a soldering iron sounds like potential for burning it... I had the same issue with a Warmoth body that had some finish buildup in the ferrule holes. I used a very sharp drill bit of the proper diameter, twirled the bit by hand in each hole and with patience, was able to press in the ferrules.

There was a lot of paint in the holes. I use Dilver's method and had the best results thanks for all the help.
