ooo - they look good. Two-colour sunburst '50s Tele is a thing of beauty... and so is the BSB '50s modified. Damn you, Fender!!!

They would release a relatively cheap Jag just after I built one, wouldn’t they, with a matching headstock no less? Still, not got a 9.5” radius and a mute... That range is a good bringing together of the Classic Player and Classic Series.

    Eh?
Vintera, maybe a contraction of vintage era.

The Baja isn't dead just renamed and repriced:rolleyes:

I like the look of these for sure, but they're definitely pricey for being MiM. The Thinline costs as much as the regular American Performer. Might be a hard sell o_O

That Bigsby-equipped model in White Blonde though... Yum!

Vintera, another definition. Discontinue other off shore or across the border models so this one has limited competition for a NEW guitar , with a tad higher price point.

I don't have an issue with all of these multiple offerings, it is clearly a brilliant marketing scheme , well timed.

Consider this, maybe early 2000's (+/- ) they offered the 50's Classic ( MIM) which by all definition was the same described guitar, save the 7.25 vs the 9.5 radius. I believe it sold new in the $599 range. I owned one, it played nothing like my 88 and 89 /52RI's. It played ok, but different.

    Evidently it's back !

Get those Classic 50s Lacquer Telecasters while they last! They'll probably be bumped up in price pretty soon.

Also that 50s Modified Vintera is basically the Baja. Same v-neck, and same switching going on with that one. I'd slap a white pickguard on the green and blue one though.

Some real beauties, but way too many with a 7.25 radius, which is going to put a lot of people off.

And, as others have said, the Baja is back . . . for more money.

I am intrigued by the "correct U shape" neck.
Question is: Fiesta Red? Sonic Blue? Two tones?

I like these- I hope the "revoiced" wide range humbucker sounds better than in the other reissues

I do like the White Blonde with Bigsby, though I do already have a White Blonde Lacquer 50s model and a Gretsch, so I guess I don't really need one, but hey...

We no longer sell Bias Ply Tires and we discontinued most of the Radial Tires, but we have these NEW Radial Tires which are pretty much the same as the discontinued Radial Tires ! You will really like them and the good news is they are only a little bit more expensive .

Who comes up with these names? Vintera sounds like it's geared more towards the European market.
I'm wondering that too? If so, I bought the last one SW had.
