nice to see they have not put the price up to much this year
The Noventa Tele is definitely a whole lotta style. I love the Fiesta Red option.
Stainless steel frets on a few models are interesting.
Painted headstocks don't bother me except the all-black painted headstock with the sunburst body was a bit jarring. It looks a little "parts bin build".
The Squier Contemporary Tele with roasted maple neck gets my vote for "Guitar I am most likely to actually buy".
For me, painted headstock is a maybe but gold hardware is a no go.
What's with these marketing folks? If they just came out with reasonably priced double bound teles with a mini-HB in the neck and rosewood fretboard, they'd sell like hotcakes. Or at least, I'd buy one.
Fender just needs better colors and more rose wood necks.
I don't know why but to me all of those painted ones look like something you would use for propelling a canoe.
Chrissy Hynde Tele and the Vibro Champ with reverb, yes.
Everything else, not interested.
Pretty good. I can get out of this year for only about 2K.
For me painted headstocks entirely depend on the color. If it matches the body, especially a 'surf' color, than I kinda like 'em. But otherwise...Not.
I wish the tele with the floyd had non Fender pickups in it. Fishman Fluence or some SD's or something more interesting.
2021 Squier HH
I'm digging the Noventa Tele and Jazzmaster, simplicity is key.
Man, that stuff is terrible. The Chrissy Hynde tele is cool, but the pickguard is idiotic. And the Isbell one is cool, but $1500 for a Mexican tele? I genuinely don't understand the pricing here. For $50 more, you can get the AmPro2?
Do we think this means no new additions to the Vintera or American Original lines? Even new colors? That's what I was really hoping for.
Giveth: finally, SS frets
Taketh Away: only on the Ultra Luxe Floyd Rose model.
1 lefty Strat...
+1 on that. I’m not excited about any of the new releases.
I was hoping for any of the following:
Vintera 69 Thinline
69 Thinline option in Mod Shop (also a G&G case option)
Tone Master Princeton Reverb or smaller
Mustang equivalent of Yamaha THR wireless
Yes very very!
I dig that Floyd tele too and the squier that has the Robbie Robertson type pickup positions
The new Epiphone Prophecy guitars have the Fishman Fluence tri-sound HBs in them.
