Geez....I thought that I could finally start playing my 9+lb Tele again! :D I used to have the older vinyl/cloth Fender strap that looked like the one shown but I wanted something wider.

I have used a few of these neoprene / spandex type straps and found two that I really like to use with heavy guitars. The Comfort Strapp has some nice padding and feels quite nice but it's not the prettiest. I may look for another one of these as I wore mine out.

I've been using this Levys strap with my Tele for a few years now as it looks a little fancier than the Comfort Strapp and although not as comfortable, it's pretty close

My favorite strap. I have been using them for years and have one for each of my "player" guitars. Mine aren't stretchy though (?)

Most comfy strap out there, pliable and not stiff, will roll up and fit in your case between the neck and lower bout, won't slip on your shoulder either. I have the Fender ones you show, and also have ones with Gibson on them etc.

They are commonly available for $12 rather than the $29 shown.

I have fancy leather straps I hate laying around.

I just use the skinny vintage style Fender straps with the leather pad.

My fav is the Levy's No.1 Stretch Strap, followed by the Ernie Ball Comfort Strap.

Well, maybe that strap converts guitar mass to energy. Sooo, google search, an 8 lb guitar will be able to heat 1.6 billion pounds of water (about 200,000,000 gallons) from 32F frozen to 212 boiling.

That makes for one hot guitar.

Maybe that's not what they meant.

I’ve seen these Fender straps since I was a teen, and even used one for a good decade on my acoustic (now it’s on my son’s little guitar), and I’ve just realized that the (ugly to my eyes, sorry...) design was a Fender headstock.

I bought a modern tweed Fender one recently in red. It's really nice and light, plus there is a bit of give in it.

Ya, the one I'm getting is the same monogrammed look, only it's a different stretchy type material. Like thick yoga pants LoL:lol:
