Fender Vintera 50’s modified pickups?

Anyone tried the Vintera 50’s modified strat pickups? My wife bought me the set a few years ago for Christmas because Fender was blowing the set out for something like $60.00. I was thinking about wiring them up to a new guard and trying them on my Player strat. Thoughts? It’s hard to find anything out about these pickups. I have two other strats currently, an ‘88 American Standard and a Nash fat strat with Lollars.

I have the Strat you mentioned and the pickups are sparkling clean and I really like them. Fender calls them hotter than the regular Vintera 50s, I've never heard those. If you like clean, I can't imagine not liking these in a Strat.
