Fender UK Price Increase 2015

    Haven't noticed that but it's possible they have. Actually to revise my comment, I do sometimes buy "new" but only if it's an ex-demonstrator or in a sale and have done so twice, usually there's a good deal on the new price and I'm not bothered about the odd mark or slight scuff since I only buy to play, I'll be doing a good job of that soon enough :)

    It's almost certainly the exchange rate. The £ is the weakest it has been against the $ for ages at the moment.
    I work in computer networking and the £ to $ exchange rate hits us big time. We can only guarantee quotes for so many days as a shift can wipe out all your profit. Bit of a nightmare when you are dealing with government departments that want a guaranteed price in £ held for six months on several million £ of kit.
