Just got my hands on a nice Tele. Was used by a known Springsteen Tribute band. Has a 1971 Maple neck. And a body that comes back as an 88-96 Fender (Sammick produced) body. Not sure of the pickups. About 8.5/10. Neck is straight, but well played board. Any idea of true value?

That's a nice looking Tele. The neck is the most valuable part. You probably could sell the neck, by itself, for about the same as you could get for the whole deal. Nice as it is, parts-casters are difficult to sell for what they cost to put together. I would say $400 or so.

I may be off, so wait til some people smarter than I weigh in before you make a move. :)

Here's my Franken Tele

After 28 years truss rod wouldn't turn any more. So put a roasted maple neck on, SD Mini in neck, Area 58 in middle, and push/pull on Tone knob to get all 7 pickup configurations
