Can anyone tell me any info on this thing? I've googled it every way I can think of and haven't found anything about it.

I'm also not finding anything. Any numbers around the edge of the speaker frame or anywhere else?

Here are some extra pics. A guy brought to me that I'm doing some cabinet work for -- "don't know anything about it but take it if it works". There is a small hole in the edge of the cone, and the solder lugs are hanging off, though the wires are still connected.

I think they are made by Eminence to Fender specs. Though Eminence is in Kentucky, not AZ. So, not sure.

Fender has or had the facility in Scottsdale AZ, and the label says Fender, but entirely possible it is built by Eminence.

That's how the codes read to me.

As far as the model - there isn't any, really. Eminence made a bunch of inexpensive proprietary speakers for Fender that were not from their normal line. Ones I've seen with that style of logo have been from cheaper amps they marketed like "custom" lines - like the Excelsior, Vaporizer, Ramparte etc.

Fender labels almost always have the company location - not their supplier's.

That appears to be an Eminence they later sold as the Legend alnico. I had a blue-frame 12" that looked like that. Rated 25- 30watts and very sqwaky in a good alnico/Tweedy sort of way. Not high volume or big bass but something like a Tweed Tremolux or Deluxe.

Maybe out of a Fender handwired Deluxe? Just guessing.

Eminence do a lot of OEM speakers to manufacturers spec, and often don't keep the records but this might be recent enough they do. A very nice guy there answered some questions I had about some old OEM speakers, he could at least tell me they were sold to Carvin and approx wattage .

Whatever it is, it does work. The tabs are dangling, but I hooked it up and it made sound. I've never had an alnico speaker, so this might be a nice way in the door for cheap!

I'm a big fan fo the Eminence 1028 and 1228 alnico speakers, Jason! I have them in my Bassman and my 5e3.

Pop some toilet paper on that cone and a drop of some kind of glue for those tabs, you'll probably be good to go for a while!

It's an Eminence. Mojotone had similar speakers with the same code
but with the MJT logo.

Anthony at Eminence will answer any question he can within proprietary restrictions including what speaker they produce now that has similar specs. Great guy, ime, when one wants to know something about OEM Eminence speaker’s.
